ReNew Crew Program

The ReNew Crew Program was initiated in 2007. It is a program that uses volunteer labor and donations to repair the homes of the elderly, disabled and low-income families within the City of Millersville.

Thanks to the dedication of the citizens of Millersville, the program has repaired a total of six homes in the three years it has been around.

Applications for Consideration of home repairs are accepted through December 31 of each year. During the first of each year, a group of qualified builders visit each applicant’ s home and through a process of scoring each need, a home is selected for repair.

Following the selection, crews begin to work on volunteer labor and donations. ReNewal Day is always held on the first Saturday of May each year in conjunction with National Building Safety Week.
