The Millersville Bluegrass Jam is an evening of traditional bluegrass and
folk music. The
event is free to the public and held on the 1st and 3rd Friday
of each month at 7:00
P.M. in the Millersville Community Center located at 1181 Louisville
Hwy, Millersville, TN.
For nearly ten years, the Millersville Bluegrass Jam has
entertained fans with performers ranging from up and coming new
bands to the incredible Roni Stoneman, of Hee Haw and Grand Ole Opry
fame. Acclaimed by bluegrass fans throughout the region,
the Jam offers quality family entertainment for all. In
its continuing effort to preserve the cultural history of
bluegrass music, the Jam was nominated for the 2003 "Folk Life
Heritage Award", a Governor's Award in the Arts.
On May 17, 2008, bluegrass legend Roland White will headline
the Jam's 10th year anniversary celebration. Plan to be
part of this day-long event.
